Mukhopadhyay
Fifteen years of telecom consulting at TCS and BT Group, combined with active doctoral research in marketing, nostalgia, and mediated influence at IIM Indore. I work at the place where data systems meet human stories.
Currently in the ABD stage of an Executive PhD at IIM Indore under Professor Ashish Sadh. Also serving as Curriculum Committee Member, AOM SIM Division, 2026.
I am a full-time Data Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the telecom billing and payments domain, working across complex transformation programs, business continuity initiatives, and data-driven problem solving. My roles at Tata Consultancy Services and BT Group plc have spanned revenue assurance architecture, GDPR-compliant cloud migrations, and multi-year digital transformation programs including Brexit and All-IP transitions.
Alongside my professional journey, I have remained deeply committed to academic learning and research. I hold an M.Engg from Jadavpur University and an MBA from IIT Kharagpur, and I am currently in the ABD stage of my Executive PhD at IIM Indore, supervised by Professor Ashish Sadh.
My academic interests center on complex emotions — especially nostalgia — and how brands, narratives, and mediated communication use them to shape influence and engagement. This curiosity extends naturally into questions of Soft Power and Digital Diplomacy, and into AI's growing role in marketing decision-making.
Beyond formal roles, I author books, review manuscripts for international journals and conferences, and host the AI-assisted podcast Revise and Resubmit – The Mayukh Show. I believe that expertise is never a finished state — it is an ongoing responsibility to keep learning, contributing, and staying curious.
